- Dec 31, 2008 More relief than I ever thought possible... My
case is very simple. Post-tibial tendinitis, right leg. Pre-Daniel I
could only walk for 20 minutes without pain. 20 MINUTES of WALKING!!!!
Not jogging. Not running. Not trail running, trailblazing or otherwise.
Walking! Life was too unfair. Post-Daniel I can walk as long as I want,
even up to 2.5 hours straight with no problem. Not for the faint of
heart but when the pain of living with silly physical limitations has
finally gotten to you and no one can seem to fix you, give Daniel a
call. Do yourself a favor, do not wait as long as I did.
- Dec 30, 2008 my friends have said i was a walking injury before. Dan
has helped remove the effects of multiple car and motorcycle crashes
,snowboard mishaps, martial art and other sport injuries I've
accumulated over the years. I had the start of RSI carpal tunnel and he
suggested we work on this first. This is very important to me as I do
computer work and was tired from having a stiff neck, hands and forearms.
Dan is very efficient with time and knows many different techniques to
fix whatever injury I wanted to work on. Dan is the best body
worker/physical therapist that I have gotten treatment from. (no way
some electrical stim and some light massage would have fixed any
of these problems) We worked on maybe 15+ injuries and his talent has
removed all the pain and improved how my body functions. I've learned
many techniques from him to continue rehab and to- be able to play
sports competativly again. I can't thank him enough and would recommend
him to my family and friends. 5 stars all the way.
- Dec 23, 2008 My Thai Massage Story My nationality is Thai. There is nothing really subtle about my people. Our food is one of the most delicious. Our martial art is deadly. And Thai massage is out of this world! For five years, I've been living in San Francisco. What I miss is good, old Thai massage. One day I found Dan on the Internet because I was looking for Thai masseur around Bay area. Although he is not Thai, his knowledge of Thai massage
is deep. He fixed my shoulder within one session. I was very impressed
and asked him about his unique technique. He said that he learned the massage
technique from his master, Yang Kiat, who is the blind masseur in
Thailand. I later become Dan's friend and had a chance to talk with Yang
Kiat. He said that Dan is one of his best students. Since then, I knew
that I have found a treasure in Bay area. PS. Please note that many
blind masseurs are regarded as master of Thai massage. Consider yourself lucky if you have a chance to become one of their clients.
- Dec 23, 2008 Great Place Daniel
really knows his stuff, anyone trying to decide how to treat an injury
should check him out! Lots of gain, minimal pain...
- Dec 21, 2008 Yoga and massage master Dan
has so many rare gifts, it's difficult to describe all of them in this
space! Here is a feeble effort. Dan, above all, is a Yoga master. He is
also a Kung fu master, which isn't surprising. He has deep insights
about how Prana (or Chi, if you prefer) moves through the body. Just
hearing him talk about that to treat your own body is worth going to him
for, massage is a bonus. You'll learn new things about your
body; I did. Dan understands physiology and anatomy. His intuitive sense
about body mechanics is very deep. He constantly amazes me by going
straight to my pain points about the same time I feel them. Another
thing: he takes complete command of the situation in a way that I
haven't really seen with anyone else in this country. People who study
martial arts may identify with this. It is deeply gratifying beyond the
physical level. Dan will also keep you entertained with his anecdotes,
stories, and keen observations about the society and our political
system. Dan blends all of these skills to deliver a truly amazing form
of massage. It's like he treats your body from within. By the
way, don't expect candles, scented oils, flowers, and water fountains.
Do expect pain--a lot of it, pain that leads to healing. Something to
bite down on while being treated is highly recommended. I'm suffering
from chronic hip pain. Like others who have written reviews here, I've
been through many different types of therapies, but Dan's method has
helped me the most. In the immortal words of Mr. T, "I pity the fool,
who doesn't want to get treated by Dan!"

- Dec 5, 2008 Fixed more than I ever expected I
went to Daniel bc my sciatica had become too much for me and I spent
yet another weekend in bed. Not only did Daniel work over my sciatica,
he identified and treated the pain in my entire right leg (the cause of
my sciatica). The great part about working with Daniel is that he also
gives you the tools to work on getting your body back outside of his
treatment. The small amount of Yoga he has shown me has not only helped
his work go better but allows me to self treat and improve outside of
sessions. It has also helped me relax more in general and work on other
parts of my body that need help. I can not recommend him enough. I have
referred two friends to him because he is THAT GOOD. By the way, yes the
treatment hurts but don't be a sissy. It is like wasabi, painful but
goes away and ultimately brings you to a much better place.
- Dec 3, 2008 Thank you Dan My
pain and neck stiffness had grown to an intolerable level over past
couple of years. I had frequent headaches. A coworker recommended Dan. I
was uncertain at first, but I was at a point that I would try anything.
After the first visit, I had dramatically increased range of motion in
my neck, and relief from my headaches. The session was painful, but I
went back for two more treatments because of the results. I would
definitely recommend him.
- Nov 26, 2008 Daniel v.s. Adhesive Capsulitis Yes
thats what I was diagnosed with (frozen shoulder). It is also a very
misleading diagnosis because it is not a diagnosis.. It is a description
of a condition of unknown but related events which are causing shoulder
pain/ immobility. Up until meeting Daniel I assumed that it was an
empirical condition, which was to be remedied via a scheduled shoulder
surgery. Thank god I followed Daniel's advice to do some research on the
condition. As a result I took a well worth detour from surgery and
became a patient of his. Although at times during massage it felt
as if I was on the operating table. Daniel's efforts, along with mine (
he gave me some simple exercises), I am at about 90% full recovery. In
addition to having 100 % mobility back, I learned the importance about
posture, my nerve health, and a better sense of awareness which will
allow me to avoid these types of situations in the future. I am not so
into new age humbo jumbo, and I was slightly a concerned seeing a
non-western healer I would have to sift through that crap. Daniel works
with expedience, efficiency and confidence, and is very clear about the
treatment and what he is trying to focus on.. give it shot
- Nov 15, 2008 If you want to fee BETTER, go see Daniel. As a massage
therapist, I am always looking for that therapist who really knows
their stuff. Daniel's therapeutic techniques are far more effective than
any I have experienced. He is not going to lay you down on a table and
give you a fluffy massage. He is going work on any dysfunction in your body until you feel better and function better. He is the best!
